REFUND POLICY

Statement
The Flamborough Seniors Centre Board of Directors recognizes that refunds are a part of doing business and may be required for several reasons.

Scope

This policy and procedure apply to all programs offered by the Flamborough Seniors Centre.

Purpose

The purpose is to set a clear policy of when refunds will be allowed by the Flamborough Seniors Centre Board of Directors.

Policy

  • Registered Courses

If the Flamborough Seniors Centre Board cancels any program prior to the start date the member will receive a full refund.

If the member withdraws from the program prior to the start date, withdraw can be processed at time of request and they will receive a full refund. No refund request form is required, and no program unenrollment fee is charged.

The member will receive a credit on account if withdrawing after registered program has started, up to and including the third class. After the third class no refund or credit will be offered. Extenuating circumstances, such as injury, illness will be considered on an individual basis by the Flamborough Seniors Centre Board.

The City of Hamilton refund form will be used for a full refund an administrative fee of $5.00 will be applied.

  • Memberships

All membership refund and/or transfer requests must have a Membership Refund Form completed.

Annual Memberships: will receive a prorated refund for the duration of time remaining. Once the six-month mark is reached the pass becomes non refundable.
